Building something new and not sure if it will work?

If you’re a founder, research spin-off, grant-funded project, or small team without a full technical stack — you’re in the right place.

The reality of early-stage product development

Uncertainty is highest at this stage. Critical technical decisions must be made before requirements are fully defined — from technology choices to system architecture and development priorities. At the same time, investors and partners expect tangible progress, where working prototypes and validation matter far more than presentations.

We act as your engineering partner during the earliest and most uncertain stage.

How we support early-stage founders

We work with fast experiments, clear go / no-go decisions, and a focus on reducing risk before committing to full builds.

Sometimes that means proving your idea can work. Sometimes it means discovering early that it shouldn’t — before you spend serious money.

Technical validation

Reduce early technical risk

Prototyping

Create working proof of concept

MVP development

Prepare for users or investors

Pilot & iteration

Validate and refine in real conditions

What you get

Not just advice or reports, but working systems and clear next steps you can use with users, partners, and investors.

Each engagement is designed to reduce uncertainty and move your project forward in practical, measurable ways.

Vodoraslo – Rivers of Sofia

Resonator helped us bring “Vodoraslo” from concept to a fully deployed installation in an urban environment. They supported the design, material sourcing, and build with a strong focus on practicality. The project explores how algae can improve water quality in rivers, requiring both experimentation and execution — and Resonator made that possible.
Having worked with them before, we knew we could rely on their ability to turn complex ideas into working systems.

Vodoraslo

Resonator helped us move quickly through cycles of testing and improvement until we reached a final product that was energy-efficient, well designed, and ready for micro-production. We went from concept to finished product in less than six months.
Beyond the technical support, they made us feel like we weren’t building it alone.

Truth Detectives

Resonator helped us identify the fastest way to produce the physical components of our game while maintaining high quality. Through the collaboration between design and engineering, we solved key practical challenges and developed a compact, fully functional prototype of the Truth Detectives board game.

Botanic Lab

With Resonator, we had the opportunity to develop improvements in the design and practicality of the product which is key for the efficiency of the smart vertical garden.
